About NHRWS

Nepal Health Research and Welfare Society is engaging research and teaching in Medical, Dental and Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Field throughout the world. The Mission of NHRWS is to Spread knowledge of health, hygiene and to start various direct and indirect services for the diseased and disabled through a holistic approach on the upliftment of them. The confederation is arranging free medical camps, awareness and training programmes for the various target groups with non-profit motive and charitable aspect.

NHRWS is a nonprofit organization regestered under societies registration Act, Nepal.

Aims & Objectives of the Society

"We dream of the day when Biomedical, Dental, Nursing and all the health science related services will be available throughout the country."

"We believe that the by the help of recent advances and technology we will be able to make a scientific research platform which will be beneficial for the country and other parts of the world.

"We share the vision of a world community of scientists working in Biomedical, Dental, Nursing and health science fields determined towards a common ambition."

Therefore, a new organization named NHRWS has been launched in 2014, which will work in parallel and in close cooperation with the existing national and international confederations, societies workgroups and research associations. Its goal is to provide a high profile international forum serving the interests of the scientific community.

It will promote the scientific activities of different branches of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. The membership of the society is open to individuals and institutions from all over the world.

Scientific meeting will be organized each year and the presentations concerning current scientific progress in Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, as well as the poster discussion sessions, which will take place in the midst of the scientific exhibition. Journal of Biomedical Sciences, is the journal of the NHRWS and will provide current information on new research topics and results. The Society is a platform to attract young qualified scientists in industrial research and development, as well as from basic science institutions. It will bridge research with legislative authorities of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. The confederation will arrange free medical camps, awareness and training programmes for the various target groups with non-profit motive and charitable aspect.

NHRWS should act in the international scientific community motivated by national activities.

The objectives of NHRWS are to promote progress in the field of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. To this end the NHRWS shall:

Bring together the existing activities and knowledge in the fields of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences and their respective methods.
Define future perspectives of interdisciplinary research in the field of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
Develop conceptions for their realization and stimulate international interdisciplinary co-operation.
Support young talented scientists through public and industrial funds in order to foster their research activities over a defined period of time in leading research centers worldwide.
Inform the members of the society about current progress in Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences by means of annual meetings, by way of the journal and with the homepage of the society.
Bridge research with legislative authorities in Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
Provide a platform for the members of the society for presentation and discussion of results, hypotheses and views.
Interact with international organizations (e.g. NIH, WHO, European Union, etc.).
Journal of Biomedical Sciences is the official journal of the NHRWS. The journal is available online.
